Video Transcription
My name is Bud Sukhu, and I am the registered psychotherapist working here at Caledon Clinic. Clients that come to me, basically, are looking for some help with unraveling what’s going on in their mind. They’re looking at their life challenges, family issues, work issues, personal issues, which is causing them to be either very anxious, very depressed or they could also have some clinical issues.
We talk about emotional dysregulation, how to control your emotions when things are… you feel like the world is giving in on you. We work on mindfulness to get you grounded.
Counselling for Couples
I’m a trained marriage counselor and certified to work with clients to help them resolve their interpersonal relationship differences.
Counselling for Families
As a family, when something happens within the family, we all, it affects all of us differently. We need to look at the whole family, how they interact, how they behave, and how they deal with issues.

Individual Psychotherapy
We offer individual psychotherapy to adults for a wide range of issues.
Mental health issues that we address include the following but are not limited to:
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Overwhelming stress
- Phobias
- Post traumatic stress
- Obsessive compulsive disorder
- Overwhelming anger
- Grief and Loss
- Borderline personality disorder
- Relationship distress

Couples Therapy
Couples therapy offers a safe space to facilitate healing of fractured relationships.
We will work with you to identify strengths that are the source of resilience and bonding in your relationship. We will together identify sources of disharmony, feelings of isolation, and disengagement. You will, as a couple, explore and identify negative patterns of interaction and create a better understanding of each other that will lead to improved communication skills and connection.
We use Gottman Method couples therapy to guide couples towards new perspectives, learning new skills and ways of thinking that promote connection, love and harmony.

Family/Parent Therapy
There are many ways families can become fractured leading to loss of connection, bonding, and love. We will work with you to restore harmony through identifying sources of disharmony and causes of fracture in family relations.
Some of the common reasons families seek therapy are:
- Substance abuse
- Emotional dysregulation
- Mental health issues such as depression and anxiety
- Financial stressors
- Work stressors
- Grief and loss
Therapy will be focused on guiding caregivers to learn specific skills to help de-escalate tensions in the home by improving parental communication skills and coping skills.
